Dr. Aidé Talamantes

Head Dentist

Being a Doctor of Dental Surgery is one of my greatest sources of pride and fulfillment. I find it incredibly rewarding to know that my work can make a meaningful difference in my patients’ lives and help them feel more confident in their smiles. I live in Del Rio, Texas, with my husband of 33 years, Charles Garabedian. Together, we have built a beautiful life and raised two wonderful daughters who are our greatest pride and joy.

I am an active, creative person who loves exploring new interests and making the most of life. One of my favorite hobbies is baking homemade bread, which allows me to enjoy the simple pleasure of creating something from scratch. I also love gardening, caring for my chickens and four dogs, and expressing my creativity through photography. Another special passion of mine is dancing Mexican folklórico, which allows me to celebrate the rich culture, traditions, and beauty of Mexico. I enjoy keeping busy with these activities, each of which brings something unique and meaningful to my life. Of course, I also believe in taking time to relax! My ideal weekend evening is spent at home watching a good movie with an extra-large bag of popcorn and jalapeños.

Traveling is another passion of mine, especially exploring Mexico and discovering its beautiful landscapes, traditions, and cultural heritage. Oaxaca is one of my favorite destinations because of its vibrant culture, remarkable artistry, delicious cuisine, and deep-rooted traditions. Whether I am traveling, creating something with my hands, spending time with my family, or enjoying my hobbies, I find joy in the little things that make life so special.

I would describe myself as a warm, enthusiastic, and family-oriented person who finds great joy and fulfillment in both my profession and my personal life. As a dentist, one of the most rewarding aspects of my work is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with my patients, restore their confidence, and make a lasting, positive difference in their lives.

Beyond the dental office, I love exploring new destinations, experiencing the excitement of live concerts, and, above all, creating beautiful memories with my family. I also appreciate the simple pleasures of life, whether it’s putting together a challenging puzzle, unwinding with a good movie, or enjoying a delicious Italian meal. Blue has always been my favorite color, and Italian cuisine holds a special place in my heart.

I believe life is best enjoyed with curiosity, gratitude, and a genuine appreciation for the people and experiences that make it meaningful.

After earning my degree in International Trade and Customs, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Talamantes and Dr. Rocha. Through this experience, I have discovered a genuine passion for dentistry and the meaningful impact it has on people’s lives. Being part of a profession that helps patients improve their smiles, confidence, and overall well-being has been incredibly rewarding and inspiring.

Outside of work, what I enjoy most is sharing laughter and special moments with my parents and siblings. I am also embracing this exciting new chapter of my life as a newlywed and enjoying all the wonderful experiences that come with it.

Some of my favorite hobbies include going to the gym and taking my beloved dog, Bobbie, for walks. I especially love winter, the ocean, and rainy days, which bring me a sense of peace and happiness. On weekends, I enjoy slowing down and unwinding at home by listening to music, savoring a good cup of coffee, or watching a favorite TV series.

My favorite colors are black and yellow, and when it comes to food, tamales and hamburgers are always at the top of my list!
